My friends tease me by telling me this bride will always be special because she gave me “mustard” as her wedding colours – this might be partly true but the journey I walked with this special couple was almost like a healing process in my own heart. Carami lost her mom a few months before their wedding day and for some or other reason I just felt this urgency in my own heart to add beauty to her wedding day – to make the hurt a little softer. In return it helped me come to terms with the sudden loss of my own mom, and for that I will be forever grateful.

Carami and her mom shared special flower memories with peonies being the favourite flower between them. Bright coral peonies danced all over the beautiful Landtscap with mustard garden roses and dried burgundy hydrangeas complementing each other. I absolutely loved working on the hanging installations for this wedding – the dried branches is so true to our style aesthetic and I am always grateful when a client embraces what makes us unique.
