When Jenni Elizabeth and Aglow Photography approached me for the editorial leg of their annual workshop I felt super excited and so honoured to be part of these two amazeballs photographers journey.
This beautiful wedding styled shoot was put together keeping the theme “wild & free” in mind at all times. The arch installation was created to “grow” with the existing rose vine. We used lush orchids, roses, anemones, local fynbos and foraged textures to create colour pockets that takes your eyes on a full 360 degree journey. The lounge pockets was beautifully styled around the ceremony area and also included a gorgeous raw linen installation, creating a whimsical atmosphere every time a breeze went through the strips of fabric.
The gorgeous (real life) couple were the real stars of the show. Nicole looked amazing in her Enzoani dress and her dashing groom complemented her perfectly in his perfectly styled blue suit. Nicole’s bouquet was full off orchids, beautiful big ranunculus, roses and banksia proteas. A fun cake was the only way to go when your theme is “Wild & free” and it tasted amazing!
The reception table started with a mustard velvet tablecloth, layered with tulle fabric and framed with black old school chairs. The table flowers was created by colour blocking ranunculus and orchids and placed to the side of the table to allow for comfortable conversation without giving up any flower elements. Soft candle light reflected beautifully off the gold cutlery and simple glassware. Beautiful black, white and blush stationary finished off this unique tablescape and was placed on simple matt black plates.
