BABY SHOWER | CELEBRATING TINY HANDS & FEET

I am blessed with the most amazing family in law – my husband’s mother & sisters are the kindest, sweetest most loving people and I am so grateful that our Creator extended my family in this way.

So when we received the very happy news that my youngest sister in law was expecting a baby girl (now born and beautifully named, Anna) I knew I wanted to do something special for her. I just love it when I creatively I get to do what I want – even more so when it is for someone I love. My sister in law’s friends were amazeballs – they did all the talking, came up with the most fun games and really went out of their way to make this a very memorable day.

I decided to go with all white to complement this amazing venue. I used off white linen serviettes & and loosely draped the tablecloths in the same texture. I layered the tables with white and gold crockery and cutlery and added rose and off white ceramics to the table top. Floral arrangements included garden roses, dahlias, dried bougainvillea, dried hydrangea, dried grasses and camphor. I also made a little back drop for the mama-to-be with bougainvillea, pampas and dried branches. The hanging installations was made up from the same textures.

BIG thank you to Angelique Smith for capturing all the love and laughs, Izette at The Styling Shed for the beautiful venue, Two Birds for the beautiful crockery & crockery, Tablecloth Hiring for the linen, Anmar at Crumb Cakes for the beautiful cake,  Niel Joubert for the amazeballs MCC and wine and Bianca for being a kick-ass assistant – could not have done this without you. You guys are the BEST!
